Welcome to The Practice Lab

The Practice Lab helps the people powering organizations – teaching individuals and teams how they make sense at work. We specialize in training on how mental health can drive performance in high-achieving, high pressure cultures and organizations.

About The Practice Lab

The Practice Lab was founded in 2022, when we noticed that more and more high achievers were reporting feeling anxious, inadequate and lonely. Life started to revolve around work, and work felt dreadful. We believe that people make sense, and our work is to help clarify not only why it makes sense that we feel so unwell, but also what helps. At the Practice Lab we know that mental health drives performance. We want you to know that too, and also that we can practice building our mental health together.

The Practice Lab is proudly based in Toronto, Canada – and has experience with international and local organizations across a variety of industries including law, technology, government, travel and financial services.

Toronto is the traditional and present day territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse nations of indigenous peoples as well as the descendants of settlers (like us). The land on which our office rests, as well as Canada more broadly, has been the site of human activity for many thousands of years, and we are committed to the reconciliation and healing of that complicated history in the present.
